Itinerary

Day 1: Pune / Aurangabad → Ajanta Caves → Aurangabad

05:30 AM — Departure from Pune (or start from Aurangabad at 8:30 AM) by AC Tempo Traveller / Private cab.
Breakfast en route at a highway restaurant.

10:30 AM — Arrive at Ajanta Caves

  • Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of 30 ancient Buddhist rock-cut caves.

  • Admire murals, sculptures, and frescoes depicting the life of Lord Buddha.

  • Important caves: Cave 1, Cave 2, Cave 16, Cave 17, Cave 26.

01:30 PM — Lunch at a local restaurant near Ajanta.

02:30 PM — Start return journey towards Aurangabad.

05:30 PM — Arrive in Aurangabad

  • Visit Bibi Ka Maqbara (Mini Taj Mahal of Maharashtra).

  • Stroll through local market for handicrafts, Himroo, and Paithani sarees.

08:00 PM — Check-in at hotel.

Day 2: Aurangabad → Ellora Caves → Daulatabad Fort → Paithan → Pune
