Itinerary
Day 1

Arrival and Ayodhya

  • Arrive at Ayodhya or Varanasi and drive to Ayodhya (about 4–5 hours by road if coming from Varanasi, around 200–220 km).​

  • Visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and take a stroll near Sarayu river ghats if time permits; overnight in Ayodhya.

Day 2

Ayodhya to Varanasi

  • After breakfast, depart Ayodhya for Varanasi by road; typical drive time is about 4–5 hours depending on route and traffic.​

  • On arrival, check in and in the evening enjoy Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and an optional boat ride on the Ganga; overnight in Varanasi.

Day 3

Varanasi and Sarnath

  • Early morning optional boat ride and sunrise darshan on the ghats, followed by visits to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kal Bhairav, Tulsi Manas Mandir, and local markets for Banarasi saree shopping.​

  • In the afternoon visit Sarnath (site of Buddha’s first sermon) for stupas, temples, and museum, then return to Varanasi for overnight stay.

Day 4

Varanasi to Bodh Gaya

  • After breakfast, drive from Varanasi to Bodh Gaya (approx. 240–255 km, usually 5–6 hours by road depending on route and traffic).​

  • On arrival visit the Mahabodhi Temple complex, Bodhi Tree area, and nearby monasteries/temples (Thai, Japanese, Tibetan etc.) as time allows; overnight in Bodh Gaya.

Day 5

Bodh Gaya and Departure

  • If time permits, visit additional Bodh Gaya sites or nearby Gaya for Vishnupad Temple and rituals on the Falgu river before departure.​

  • Transfer to Gaya or Varanasi railway station/airport as per your onward journey plan, ending the 4N/5D Ayodhya–Varanasi–Bodh Gaya tour
