Empress Botanical Garden, a green paradise in the heart of Pune is a 39 acre bio-diverse expanse situated near Pune racecourse. A rare & towering trees with dense green foliage, giant climbers is a green heritage site not only to this city but for the state of Maharashtra. It is an institution of living collection of plants, a centre of public education, major recreational place for the citizens and most of all, conserve Pune’s natural environment & biodiversity for the generations to come.

Our mission for the Empress Botanical Garden is to conserve native biodiversity, establish a centre for scientific research and environmental education with to provide an unique ecotourism destination for the citizens of Pune.

  • Plant Nursery:

    A dedicated 5-acre area houses a variety of saplings for sale to the public. 

Itinerary
  • Morning:- (08:00 am To 08:30 am) :-
  1. Reporting At School.
  2. Head Count And Boarding To The Bus.
  3. Depart To Location.
  • Arrive At Location:- (8:30 am To 10:30 am) :-
  1. Fresh Up. 
  2. Breakfast.
  3. We Divide Student As Per Their Class Or Division.
  • Start Activities;- (10:-30 am To 12:30 pm) :-

 

  1. Begin exploring the garden, focusing on the diverse collection of trees, flowering plants, and climbers. 
  2. Observe the state tree, the taman, and the Brahmadanda (Kigelia pinnata) tree.
  3. Take time to appreciate the floral diversity in color, shape, fragrance, origin, and structure.
  • Lunch:- (12:30 pm To 1:30 pm) :-
  1. Have lunch at a nearby restaurant or pack a picnic to enjoy within the garden grounds.​
  • Remaining Activities:- (1:30 pm To 3:00pm) :-
  1. Spend some time reflecting on your visit and the diversity of plant life you have encountered. 
  2. You can revisit any areas that particularly caught your attention or take photos of your favorite plants
  3. If you have children, allow time for them to play at the dedicated play area within the garden. 
  4. Continue exploring the garden, focusing on any areas or collections of plants that particularly interest you. 
  • Evening:- (3:00 pm To 3:30pm) :-
  1. Snacks.

  1. Depart Back To School
