  • Enjoy local snacks: Misal Pav, Vada Pav, or South Indian at a highway hotel.

10:00 AM — Visit Karla Caves

  • Explore ancient 2nd-century BCE Buddhist caves.

  • Admire the grand Chaitya Hall and intricate carvings.

11:00 AM — Visit Bhaja Caves

  • A short drive and walk to another set of 22 ancient rock-cut caves.

  • View old stupas, sculptures, and valley views.

11:45 AM — Proceed to Lion’s Point / Tiger’s Leap

  • Scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of Sahyadris and valleys.

01:00 PM — Lunch at Local Restaurant

  • Recommended: Kinara Village Dhaba / German Bakery Lonavala.

 02:30 PM — Visit Parle-G Factory (Subject to prior permission)

  • Tour the biscuit-making process.

  • Interact with staff (if permitted) and shop for fresh biscuits and toffees from the factory outlet.

03:30 PM — Visit Bhushi Dam / Lonavala Lake

  • Spend time near the dam (best in monsoon) or relax at Lonavala Lake.
