Day 1

Pune to Harihareshwar

  • 06:00 AM — Depart from Pune by private cab / self-drive
    (Optional: Breakfast halt at Mulshi or Tamhini Ghat for piping hot vada-pav or misal pav)

  • En route via:

    • Tamhini Ghat (lush greenery and waterfalls during monsoon)

    • Mangaon, Mhasala village

  • 12:00 PM — Arrive at Harihareshwar, check-in at beach resort or homestay

  • 01:00 PM — Lunch at resort (enjoy Konkani thali, seafood specialties)

  • Evening:

    • Visit the ancient Harihareshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva

    • Explore the Pradakshina Path (circumambulatory path) along the seashore cliffs (best done during low tide)

    • Relax at Harihareshwar Beach — swimming or sunset walk

  • 08:00 PM — Dinner at resort

Day 2

Diveagar – Shrivardhan Excursion

  • 08:30 AM — Depart for Diveagar Beach (approx. 35 km / 1 hr drive)

    • Visit Suvarna Ganesh Temple

    • Spend time at the clean, peaceful Diveagar Beach

  • 11:30 AM — Proceed to Shrivardhan Beach (approx. 20 min drive)

    • Explore the Peshwa Memorial (birthplace of Peshwa Balaji Vishwanath)

    • Enjoy the scenic beach promenade

  • 01:00 PM — Lunch at a local seaside eatery (try Konkani seafood like Bombil fry, sol kadhi)

  • 02:00 PM — Return to Harihareshwar

  • 03:00 PM — Relax at resort or free time for optional activities:

    • Beach walk

    • Local shopping (cashews, kokum syrup, handicrafts)

  • Evening:

    • Visit the temple again for evening aarti
