Overview

Spiti means middle country, a name given to it as a result of its ties with India and Tibet. A century ago, Rudyard Kipling in Kim called Spiti “a world within a world” and a “place where the gods live” – a description that holds good even today. Fed by several streams the Spiti river flows through the area to eventually join the Sutlej that starts from Mansrovar in Tibet. Buddhism is the pre-dominant religion there. Spiti can be reached from Manali or Shimla.

  1. The package cost is based on the number of passengers mentioned in the quotation. Any change in group size may affect the final pricing.

  2. Hotel accommodation will be provided in standard rooms on double/triple sharing basis unless specified otherwise.

  3. Check-in and check-out timings of hotels will be as per hotel policy.

  4. Early check-in & late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

  5. Vehicle will operate strictly as per the itinerary and not on disposal basis.

  6. Due to weather conditions, landslides, road blockages, snowfall, or any unforeseen circumstances in Himalayan regions, itinerary changes may occur without prior notice.

  7. Spiti Valley is a high-altitude destination; travelers are advised to consult a doctor before travel if suffering from asthma, heart conditions, or other medical issues.

  8. Any cost arising due to natural calamities, road blockage, landslides, snowfall, political disturbances, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or delays beyond our control shall be borne directly by the guests.

  9. Entry fees, camera charges, monument fees, adventure activities, permits, and personal expenses are not included unless specifically mentioned.

  10. Meals not mentioned in the inclusions section will be chargeable extra.

  11. Guests are requested to carry valid government photo identification during the tour.

  12. AC may not operate in hilly regions or during steep mountain drives as per vehicle policy.

  13. Hotels and camps in remote regions of Spiti may have limited electricity, Wi-Fi connectivity, and mobile network availability.

  14. Consumption of alcohol or any illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

  15. Travelers are advised to carry warm clothes, medicines, sunscreen, sunglasses, power banks, and suitable footwear for the tour.

  16. Adventure activities such as trekking, camping, ATV rides, or river activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.

  17. The company will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the journey.

  18. In case of cancellation, cancellation charges will apply as per company policy.

  19. Rates are subject to change in case of increase in fuel prices, taxes, permit charges, or hotel tariffs.

  20. Any dispute arising from the tour shall be subject to jurisdiction of Pune courts only.

  21. Guests are requested to maintain cleanliness and respect local culture, monasteries, and village traditions during the tour.
